MAKING IT is an original comedy-drama following one man’s search for love, creative fulfilment and a pencil sharpener.

George Banbury is a 33 year old struggling actor best known for having appeared alongside a troll in a Wine Gums advert. Stuck in a rut and living with his parents, George is going nowhere fast. An unexpected pregnancy and a chance encounter with an ex-girlfriend sees George attempt to expose his inner leading man to a world that has already cast him as a supporting artiste.

MAKING IT held its world premiere at the 2016 East End Film Festival, screening at Hackney Picturehouse.

The film has since screened at the Cambridge Film Festival (Arts Picturehouse), the Abbeygate Cinema, Bury St. Edumunds and the Broadway Cinema, Letchworth. At the Southampton International Film Festival (Harbour Lights Picturehouse), MAKING IT was nominated for five awards, winning Leading Actor in a Feature.
