Linda

It's the morning of Linda's husband's funeral. When an unexpected reunion unlocks long repressed desires,  Linda must confront her identity.

 

In this touching and surprising short drama, two older women discover that it's never too late to be true to who you are.

LINDA premiered at the 2018 Cambridge Film Festival (Arts Picturehouse) and played at the Prince Charles Cinema as part of 2018's Pride in London Festival.

George Banbury is a 33 year old struggling actor best known for appearing alongside a troll in a Wine Gums advert. Stuck in a rut and living with his parents, George is going nowhere fast. An unexpected pregnancy and a chance encounter with an ex-girlfriend sees George attempt to expose his inner leading man to a world that has already cast him as a supporting artiste.

MAKING IT is a comedy-drama feature film following one man’s search for love, creative fulfilment and a pencil sharpener.

 

MAKING IT held its world premiere at the 2016 East End Film Festival, screening at Hackney Picturehouse.

 

The film then screened at the 2016 Cambridge Film Festival (Arts Picturehouse), the Abbeygate Cinema, Bury St. Edumunds and the Broadway Cinema, Letchworth. At the 2016 Southampton International Film Festival (Harbour Lights Picturehouse), MAKING IT was nominated for five awards, winning Leading Actor in a Feature.
